Spring Picnics are in the Air

Planning a family barbecue or picnic? Here's a great recipe that's been a hit in our family for generations.

Easy Does It Meatballs or Cocktail Sausages

1 jar grape jelly (32 ounce)
2 jars Heinz Chili Sauce
1 lg. pkg. frozen meatballs
OR 2 pkg. Lil Smokies sausages

Combine the grape jelly with the chili sauce in a pot (works great in a crockpot). Add in the meatballs and simmer for about half an hour uncovered or until the sauce has thickened.

Serve from the pot, or for a nicer presentation, remove meatballs from the sauce onto a serving tray and serve with cute embellished toothpicks.

  2. Guess what else is YUMMY? I tried a similar recipe with only meatballs and instead of grape jelly used cranberry sauce. It is fabulous! Try it!
